  20. This is a simple, DOS-based, hypertext document 
  21. that serves as an intermediate-level tutorial 
  22. on logic design using the EPX780 FPGA as a
  23. prototyping device.

  26. :How_do_I_use_this? 
  27.  
  28. Basically, you use the cursor control keys, PgUp 
  29. and PgDn keys, or the mouse and scroll bars to move
  30. through the text.  If you see a word you don't 
  31. understand, put the text cursor on it and hit the 
  32. ENTER key OR click on it with your mouse cursor and
  33. you will transfer to the place in the text where 
  34. the term is explained.  You can return to where you
  35. were by hitting the BACKSPACE key. 
  36.  
  37. The words or phrases ~highlighted like this~ are the 
  38. best candidates for getting further information, 
  39. but you can try clicking on anything you see.  If 
  40. you click on something like ~<epxbrd.pcx>~, then a 
  41. viewer for the PCX picture will take over the entire
  42. screen.  To return to the hypertext document, just 
  43. click the mouse or hit any key on the keyboard 
  44. (except for the ENTER key).

  46. Some explanatory text will appear in separate 
  47. windows.  You can drag these windows around and 
  48. resize them with the mouse.

  50. Other than that, you can try anything you see in 
  51. the menus and see what happens!

  95. You can login to this machine as `~anonymous~` to 
  96. retrieve the documents.  Each document will be 
  97. stored as a self-extracting archive.  Merely download
  98. it into an empty directory on a DOS PC and execute 
  99. it and the document will install itself.  Then type
  100. ~`GO`~ to view the document.
